Welcome... Mokelumne Hill Church

We are a non-denominational grace-oriented Bible church that was founded in 1853. As a family of caring Christians, we proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ as: Savior, Lord, Healer, Deliverer, Baptizer, and soon-coming King. We also emphasize the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit, teaching spirit-soul and body, the 5-fold ministry (of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher), the infallibility of scripture, biblical eldership, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. We help support various missionaries, and are a church of: prayer, worship, evangelism, discipleship training, fellowship and ministering to our community.

We serve a wonderful, caring God of mercy, of loving kindness and miracles. We exalt Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church. We seek, always, for the Holy Spirit to lead us to live in accordance with the Word of God so that we grow closer in our relationship with the Lord and each other, and so that we might be witnesses for Jesus in our community.

Our Purpose . . . to bring people to Jesus Christ . . . and commitment in His local church family, help them grow to Christian maturity, and enable and equip them for ministry in the church, in the community, and for their life mission in the world, in order to magnify the Lord.
